The Quingo team like to encourage users to get out and about and visit interesting or unusual places on their Quingo mobility scooters, so this time we are showcasing the Imperial War Museum in London.
Imperial War Museum London
The Imperial War Museum (IWM) in London is a dedicated war museum covering conflicts, focused on those involving Britain and the Commonwealth, from the First World War to the present day. The Museum tells the stories of people’s experiences of modern war and conflict and has a number of exhibitions which are updated regularly. You can find out what exhibitions are currently on offer on the IWM website. Currently there are exhibitions on Afghanistan 2014, Women’s role in the Second World War and how British transport was used during different conflicts.
The IWM London encourages all visitors to come and enjoy and learn, regardless of mobility. As such, the IWM has plenty of facilities to make it easy for you to take your Quingo on a great day out.
The IWM London is situated in South East London on Lambeth Road, SE1 6HZ. They are open every day from 10am – 6pm, including Bank Holidays.
Free disabled parking is available to blue badge holders, perfect for all Quingo mobility scooters and especially for Quingo Flyte users, but you are required to book your parking space by either emailing [email protected] or by calling 020 7416 5000.

The step free entrance to the museum is located through the West entrance. If you’re looking at the front of the building, the West entrance is located on the right hand side of the building, just past the café entrance.
