Quingo Accessible Attractions: Docklands Canal Boat Trust, London

The Quingo Scooters team are always keen to encourage mobility scooter users to get out and about and visit interesting or unusual places. In our accessible attractions series, we aim to share some of the hidden gems; places that you wouldn’t usually visit or that you maybe thought weren’t accessible for your Quingo Scooter.

This week we’re looking at London in a completely different way and sharing information about the Dockland Canal Boat Trust.  London’s Docklands were originally built to cater for the rapidly expanding shipping industry but now comprises of sky-scraping offices and stylish restaurants and bars, all built around a vibrant cosmopolitan waterside setting.

Quingo Accessible Attractions: Riverside Museum

Quingo Scooters are always encouraging users to get out and about to visit interesting or unusual places on their mobility scooters.

Quingo Accessible Attractions: Natural History Museum

Quingo Scooters are always encouraging users to get out and about to visit interesting or unusual places on their mobility scooter, especially places that you didn’t think were accessible enough.

Today we’re sharing with you somewhere that is on everyone’s list of places to visit – The Natural History Museum. The museum is a world-renowned centre of research, and it holds 80 million items for you to look at from five main collections: botany, entomology, mineralogy, palaeontology and zoology. There are even specimens collected by Charles Darwin himself – great for the history fanatics!
